The government of Pakistan has allowed people them to visit the mosque during the month of Ramadan starting on Saturday, and to ensure that they follow the government guidelines. Despite Corona virus infection, the government has taken this decision, whereas near 12000 people have been infected in the country.

The government on Friday extended the partial lockdown across the country to 9 May. However, Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again opposed the complete lockdown and said that it would have a very bad effect on the poor people.

Imran Khan tweeted on Friday that we are demanding complete lockdown without thinking about the daily wage laborers, street vendors and laborers, all of them live in poverty and hunger and the lockdown will make their lives worse.

The number of corona virus infected in Pakistan has reached 11,940 on Saturday. During the last 24 hours, 785 new patients have found here. In view of the ever increasing number of corona patients in the country, the authorities have appealed to people to stay in their homes to pray Namaz. The government has given conditional approval last week for Ramadan to congregate and pray in mosques.
