Corona virus testing has increased rapidly in the country and this is probably the reason why new corona virus cases are being reported daily. India has reached at the sixth place among the most tested countries of the corona virus worldwide. There have been more Corona Tests in India than Spain now and more than 1.27 lakh Corona Virus Tests have been done in the country during the last 24 hours. So far a total of 36.11 lakh people have undergone corona tests in which 173763 cases have been found positive and 82370 people have been cured so far.

The United States and Russia are at the forefront of the Corona virus testing, whereas more than 16.8 million people have been tested so far in the US, while in Russia too, 10 million figure has been crossed. Apart from these, more than 40 lakhs in Britain, over 37 lakhs in Italy and over 39 lakhs tests have been conducted in Germany, whereas in this list, India has overtaken Italy and reached the sixth position.

New corona cases have come up rapidly due to the rising corona virus test in the country and there have been 7964 new cases of corona virus reported in the country during the last 24 hours, due to which the total number of corona virus cases in the country has increased to 173763. Not only this, but 265 people have also lost their lives in last 24 hours due to Corona virus in the country and this is the highest number of deaths reported in a single day, with this the number of people who lost their lives in the country due to Corona virus has now increased to 4971. However, the death rate of corona virus in India still remains below 3 percent.
