Covid19: One-week Mandatory home Quarantine for International Tourists
The Indian government has increased regulations to limit the spread of the fast-spreading Omicron strain in the country. All foreign visitors to India will now be subjected to a one-week obligatory quarantine. The Ministry of Health released a statement in this regard, stating that new rules for overseas travelers have been given to prevent infection with the Omicron strain of the corona. From today, the rule of house quarantine is in effect.
Seven-day home quarantine under the new law
Foreign visitors will be subjected to a seven-day home quarantine under the new law. On the eighth day after his arrival in India, he would undergo an RT-PCR test. After that, they are only allowed to move about if the report is bad. This restriction does not apply to children under the age of five. Only if they show symptoms of the coronavirus will they be tested.

According to the directive, travelers arriving from overseas must upload the report of their corona test on the eighth day to the Air Suvidha portal so that the concerned state can keep an eye on them. If the report is negative, the passengers will be required to monitor their health for seven days and check for symptoms. The passenger's sample will be sent for genome sequencing if the report is positive.
