Amid the country's third wave of Corona, the pace has become unmanageable. 1 lakh 79 thousand 729 new instances of coronavirus have been reported in the last 24 hours, with 146 individuals losing their lives. Following this, the country's total corona cases grew to 3 crores 57 lakh 7 thousand 727. The total number of people who have died as a result of this disease has now reached 4 lakh 83 thousand 936. Following the discovery of a new case of Corona, the total number of active cases has risen to 7 lakh 23 thousand 619. However, the corona epidemic has healed 3 crores 45 lakh 172 people so far.
Omicron cases in the country is increased to 4,033 and it is increasing in a rapid pace. Maharashtra and Rajasthan have the highest number of 1,216 and 529 cases of Omicron. Out of 4,033 patients of Omicron, 1,552 patients have been discharged. The vaccination campaign is being run vigorously amidst the increased threat of Omicron and the uncontrollable speed of Corona. So far 151 crore vaccination doses have been given. A total of 13 lakh 52 thousand 717 sample tests were done in the country on Sunday. That is, till yesterday 69 crore 15 lakh 75 thousand 352 sample tests have been done.

Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Health Minister, will meet with the health ministers of five states and one union territory on Monday to assess the situation, which has seen a dramatic increase in the number of Covid cases. According to sources the Union ministers will connect via digital medium with the health ministers of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, and Maharashtra, as well as the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
1 lakh 59 thousand 632 new cases of corona infection had been reported the day before. Amid Corona's unmanageable pace, Prime Minister Modi evaluated the situation on Sunday. He advocated for the development of suitable health infrastructure in the areas and the implementation of a mission-based teen immunization campaign.

He emphasized the importance of wearing masks and keeping a safe distance to control Covid, as well as the need for home isolation in situations of moderate and asymptomatic infection.
