Can Think about Matches without Audience but after Five-Six Months: Waqar Younis

Akash Singh

Australia has to host T20 World this year in the months of October and November. It is believed that this T20 World Cup may be postponed due to Coronavirus, but the organizers say that the tournament will be held as per schedule. At the same time, the bowling coach of Pakistan team and former cricketer Waqar Younis made it clear that the T20 World Cup should be held in Australia.

Waqar Younis has said, "Whenever I am associated with Pakistan as a player or as a coach, I want to win a big ICC title. That is why this T20 World Cup is for me and the team is so important. Even if there is some delay in this tournament due to Corona, it should be held in Australia itself."

The Pakistani veteran continued, "I think in five-six months when things are under control around the world and life gets back on track in a normal way, then we can think about the match without an audience. After some time one can think of such an option but not now or next month. This situation is not suitable for cricket activities. " Many tournaments and bilateral series have already been canceled and postponed due to Coronavirus.
