The word war between expel co-founder Ashneer Grover and top-level management has taken a worse turn. BharatPe CEO Suhail Sameer harshly accused Grover of stealing funds from the company.

Suhail Sameer created a Knee-jerk reaction to Grover’s sister Aashima’s comments on LinkedIn who requested the senior level management to settle up the dues and salaries of ex-employees.

BharatPe CEO wrote on a Professional social media platform, “Aashima Behen, tere Bhai ne Saara paisa Chura Liya (your brother has stolen all the funds) Very little left to pay salaries.”

While some people scolded Sameer for his tweet, he eventually apologized and pledged to pay the fine.

An Associate Called Suhail Sameer Very Unprofessional

Previously, Karan Sarki, an associate, wrote, tagging Sameer and BharatPe's other co-founder, "Dear Suhail and Shashvat Sir, after following so many times on email and visiting the office, we haven't gotten our salary for March month yet."

“You sacked all of BharatPe's former administrative workers without explanation, and their wages were not paid. We've been with BharatPe since the beginning, and now we're nowhere because of your internal politics. We are poor individuals with households to manage and tiny children to care for. We've been using our own money to pay for the company's petty cash, and our reimbursement bills haven't been paid since December.”

Ashneer Grover Wants BharatPe to Take Action Against Sameer

Following a public fight with BharatPe CEO Suhail Sameer, former co-founder, and managing director Ashneer Grover has submitted a letter to the company's board of directors requesting that Sameer be punished for his "despicable" social media behavior.

Grover stated in a letter dated April 8 that Sameer's comments in reaction to the aforementioned social media post are not only defamatory but also "blatantly a public falsehood and admission of the firm being bankrupt by no less than its CEO and member of the board."

"According to precedents and the self-proclaimed high standards of this board, the CEO should be promptly served with a show-cause notice for his vile public behavior and placed on a leave of absence to handle the company's brand harm."

"Suhail needs to show the board clearly that he was not under the influence of drink or drugs when he posted the abovementioned comment on LinkedIn," Grover added.

Grover wrote in the letter that Sameer's whole business should be reviewed by an independent auditor and that he should only be restored as CEO when the audit report is tabled with the board and exonerates him of any misconduct.
