LPG Cylinder Price Hiked by Rs 25, Prices increased for the Sixth Time in 2021

There is bad news for the common people who are suffering from inflation in the country. Petroleum companies (IOCL, HPCL, BPCL) have today increased the prices of domestic LPG by Rs 25 per cylinder. After this decision of the companies, from today LPG cylinder will be available for Rs 863.50 instead of Rs 838.50. This is the sixth increase in the prices of LPG cylinder since the beginning of 2021.

Price Increased earlier on Monday also

Earlier on July 1, the companies had increased the prices of LPG by Rs 25.50 per cylinder. In this era of Corona, where people's jobs are stalled, there is a crisis on jobs, in such situations the prices of commodities like petrol-diesel, cooking gas, electricity bills, food items (cooking oil, flour, pulses, milk) etc. It is increasing continuously, which has created problems for the people of the lower and middle classes.

After the lockdown in April 2020, the Central Government has also declared the subsidy given on LPG to be stopped. Till April 2020, people used to get a subsidy of Rs 147 on LPG, but since May 2020, not even a single rupee subsidy is being given. 306 per cylinder has increased within 15 and a half months from May 2020 till today.

Commercial gas prices were increased 17 days ago

Earlier, the companies had also increased the prices of gas cylinders for commercial use from August 1. The price of the 19 kg commercial cylinder was increased by 72.50, after which the commercial cylinder is being sold for 1644.50. At the same time, on July 1 also, Rs 84 was increased on commercial cylinders.
