Elon Musk, the world's second-richest person and owner of Tesla, Twitter and SpaceX, followed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter on Monday (April 10). Right now Musk follows only 194 people in the whole world, including PM Modi.

Prime Minister Modi has become the fourth leader whom Musk follows. Among the leaders, apart from PM Modi, Elon Musk follows UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, former US President Barack Obama and French President Emmanuel Macron.

Elon Musk has the most followers on Twitter

Recently Elon Musk has become the most followed person on Twitter. He has left behind former US President Barack Obama and famous singer Justin Bieber. Currently, a total of 134.3 million people follow Elon Musk on Twitter. In 2020, Barack Obama was at number one in this list.

According to Guinness World Records, Twitter has approximately 450 million monthly active users. The number of followers of Musk is 30% of the total users of Twitter.

Number of followers increased to 13.43 crores within five months

Elon Musk took over Twitter on October 27, 2022. Then they had about 110 million users. Within five months, this number has increased to 13.43 crore. Musk was then the third most followed Twitter user after Barack Obama and Justin Bieber.

Prime Minister Modi has 8.77 crore followers on Twitter

Prime Minister Narendra Modi currently has 8.77 crore followers on Twitter, making him one of the most followed leaders on Twitter in the world. At the same time, Prime Minister Modi follows a total of 2535 people.
