Brake on Petrol-Diesel Boom, Know New Rate List

There was no change in the price of petrol and diesel on the third business day of the week. Earlier on Tuesday, the oil marketing companies had increased the price of petrol in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai by 10 paise and in Kolkata by nine paise per liter. However, the price of diesel was cut by six paisa per liter.

According to the website of IndianOil, petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai remain unchanged at Rs 73.30, Rs 76.00, Rs 78.97 and Rs 76.18 per liter respectively. Talking about diesel, the four metros are being sold at Rs 65.79, Rs 68.20, Rs 69.01 and Rs 69.54 per liter respectively.

Let us tell you for the last 5 days, there was a rise in the prices of petrol. In these 5 days, the price of petrol in the capital of the country has increased by 70 paise per liter. However, the price of diesel was cut for two days, due to which diesel in Delhi became cheaper by 12 paise per liter in these two days.

Let us know that in the January delivery contract of Brent crude on the international futures market, Intercontinental Exchange, on Wednesday, was trading at $ 61.91 per barrel with a decrease of 0.24 percent. At the same time, the December contract of the American light crude West Texas Intermediate on the New York Mercantile Exchange was down 0.12 percent at $ 56.73 a barrel.
