The country's second-richest businessman recently took over the management control of Mumbai International Airport. After this, major changes have been made in the company which looks after the airport business on Sunday. RK Jain will now be the new CEO of Adani Airport Holdings Limited. He has replaced Behnad Jandi. Apart from this, the company will also shift its head office from Mumbai to Ahmedabad.
According to a statement issued by the Adani Group, the group is growing rapidly in the airport sector. In such a situation, it has been decided to shift the head office of Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) from Mumbai to Gujarat.
RK Jain, the new CEO of Adani Airport Holdings, has joined Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL). Adani Group said that he played a big role in getting the Navi Mumbai International Airport project to the company. RK Jain has replaced Behnad Jandi. Jandi has been appointed as the CEO of, Non-Aero Department, Adani Airport Holdings Limited.
RK Jain has stepped down as the CEO of Mumbai International Airport Limited, which will now be handled by Prakash Tulsiani. Prakash currently holds the post of Operations President at Adani Airport Holdings.
Let us inform you that on July 13, the Adani Group has bought a major stake from GVK Group, the builder and owner of the Mumbai airport. Adani Group now holds 74% of Mumbai International Airport Limited. Apart from this, the Adani Group is also responsible for the management of Guwahati, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Mangaluru, Jaipur and Thiruvananthapuram airports. In this sense, every fourth person travelling by air in India travels from Adani's airport.
