In Uttarakhand, three people were killed and four are missing after a cloudburst hit Mando village in Uttarkashi district on Sunday. According to the report, women and children are also among those missing. SDRF team in charge Inspector Jagdamba Prasad informed about the accident. He said that the rescue operation is still on.

Heavy rains have been lashing many parts of the state for the past few days. Most of the rivers here are in spate. Rivers Ganga, Yamuna, Bhagirathi, Alaknanda, Mandakini, Pindar, Nandakini, Tons, Saryu, Gori, Kali, Ramganga are flowing just below the warning level.

1 dead, 2 feared trapped in building collapse in Gurugram

One person died after a three-story building collapsed in Haryana's Gurugram on Sunday night. Two people are feared trapped under the debris. One person has been pulled out safely from the rubble and has been sent to the hospital for treatment.

DCP Rajiv Deswal said that we got information about the collapse of a building. The fire brigade and police department are present at the spot. The rescue operation is on. Local Pawan informed the police about the accident. He told that the building was a warehouse of a company. It was not in good condition. Some workers were in the building at the time of the accident.

30 killed in rain-related incidents in Mumbai on Sunday

Earlier on Sunday, 30 people died in various incidents due to heavy rains in Mumbai. Due to the heavy rains since Monday morning, roads were flooded in Kurla, Sion, King Circle, Andheri Subway, Hindmata, and Dadar areas of Mumbai. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rain in Mumbai, Pune, and its surroundings today. On Sunday, suburban train services in Mumbai were suspended for some time and many long-distance trains were diverted.

85% more rain than normal in Mumbai so far

According to the Santacruz Meteorological Department, since June 1, Mumbai has recorded 1,811 mm of rain, which is more than 85% of the normal rainfall that Mumbai receives till the end of September. According to IMD, this figure is 2,205 mm. Although Mumbai had received only 58.7% rainfall till July 15, Mumbai has received 661.5 mm of rain in the last three days, meaning the monsoon has bridged 26.3% of the seasonal rainfall in just three days.

Maharashtra has received 15% rain of the season so far

Till July 18, the state has received up to 15% rainfall. The state usually receives 394.3 mm of rain till July 19, but it has actually received 453.6 mm of rain. According to IMD, so far Konkan has received 30% rainfall, Marathwada 46%, Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha only 2-3%.

Roads submerged in water in many areas of Delhi

Rain in Jammu and Kashmir and Gujarat also

Parts of Jammu and Kashmir received rain on Monday morning. IMD has predicted a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain for Srinagar today. At the same time, there was heavy rain in some parts of South Gujarat on Sunday. Due to this normal life was disturbed and many places in Valsad got waterlogged.

Heavy rain is expected in these parts of the country in the next 24 hours

The Meteorological Department says that in the next 24 hours, there may be heavy rain in many parts of the country. Heavy rains may occur over parts of Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka, and Northwest UP. Moderate to heavy rains may occur over Sikkim, parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Assam, Meghalaya, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, parts of Delhi, Haryana, and Northeast Rajasthan.

Apart from this, light to moderate rain may occur over Punjab, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, parts of Odisha, Kerala, parts of Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and South Gujarat. Light rain at one or two places is very likely over Chhattisgarh, Eastern parts of Rajasthan, Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Ladakh.
