Apple Offline Stores: Apple is preparing to open its retail stores in India, two decades after first entering the country, indicating the tech giant's growing interest in the market.

Apple had planned to open its first retail location in 2021 but was not able to do so because of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The company opened its first online store in India in 2020.

Apple BKC (short for Bandra Kurla Complex), first India offline retail store, will open for business on April 18, 2023, in Mumbai. The iPhone maker will open its second such store in Delhi in Saket two days later, on April 20th.

Customers may have access to exclusive offers and a personalised customer experience through its offline stores. The company operates over 500 retail locations in 25 countries.

Currently, Apple sells its products in exclusive Apple Premium Reseller (APR) stores, large format retail chains such as Reliance Digital, Croma, and others, multi-brand retail stores, and e-commerce platforms.

These two retail stores "mark a significant expansion in India that will offer great ways to browse, discover, and buy Apple products with exceptional service and experiences for customers."

While the Mumbai store is set to open at 11 am IST, the Delhi location will open at 10 am IST on the dates specified.

The Apple Saket barricade was unveiled this morning, with a unique design inspired by Delhi's many gates, each representing a new chapter in the city's storied past.

Customers will be able to browse, discover, and purchase Apple products in new and exciting ways, as well as receive exceptional service and experiences, at the new stores.

In the glory of the first Apple store in India, Apple BKC has announced a special Today at Apple series titled "Mumbai Rising" that will run from opening day through the summer.

“It will provide hands-on activities with Apple's products and services that celebrate Mumbai's local community and culture by bringing together visitors, local artists, and creatives," Apple BKC said.
