Former US Vice-President Joe Biden Clinches Democratic Presidential Nomination

Former US Vice President Joe Biden has officially become the Democratic Party Presidential candidate. Biden has secured more than 1991 delegates to secure the Democratic nomination. In a statement on Friday night, Biden said, "It was an honor for me to compete for the nomination with the most talented candidates of the Democratic Party. I feel proud to say that we are going to contest the presidential election like a united party."

"I am going to spend every day between now and November 3 to get the votes of all Americans in this great country so that we can win the battle for the soul of this nation," Biden said. Also, we can ensure that as we rebuild our economy, other people also join it.

Biden won primary elections in seven states. He received the most delegates from Pennsylvania in the election held on Tuesday. He won elections from Maryland, Indiana, Rhode Island, New Mexico, Montana and South Dakota. Many of the 2020 primary elections were delayed due to the Coronavirus epidemic. No primary elections were held between March 17 and April 7, during which participants were rescheduled and a vote-by-mail motion was brought.
