Citroën e-C3 EV: French car manufacturer Citroën has entered India's electric vehicle market with the launch of its e-C3 EV, which is based on the C3 hatchback.
The car comes in four variants - Live, Feel, Feel Vibe Pack, and Feel Dual Tone Vibe Pack - with prices ranging from Rs 11.50 lakh to Rs 12.43 lakh ex-showroom.
The e-C3 EV will compete with Tata's Tiago EV, despite being slightly more expensive.
Live - Rs 11.50 lakh
Feel - Rs 12.13 lakh
Feel Vibe Pack - Rs 12.28 lakh
Feel Dual Tone Vibe Pack - Rs 12.43
The Citroën e-C3 EV is equipped with a 29.2 kWh-R battery pack, which provides a range of up to 320 km on a single charge.
The electric motor generates 57 PS of power and 143 Nm of peak torque, enabling the car to accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 6.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 107 km/h.
With a DC fast charger, the car's battery can be charged from 10-80% in approximately one hour, according to the company.
The Citroën e-C3 EV can be fully charged at home with a 15-ampere power socket in approximately 10 hours.
It comes with additional features such as a flat bottom steering wheel, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and over 35 connected car features.
As an electric car, it doesn't have an engine or gearbox, so it has drive selector switches instead of a gear lever.
Citroen is providing a warranty for their electric vehicles, which includes 7 years or up to 1,40,000km coverage for the battery, 5 years or up to 1,00,000km coverage for the motor, and 3 years or up to 1,25,000km coverage for the vehicle.
