Tata Tiago EV: The recently launched Tata Tiago EV is the newest and cheapest electric car in the Indian market. With this, it was launched at an initial price of Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Tiago EV is available in 7 variants, whose price goes up to Rs 11.79 lakh. These prices are for the first 10,000 units of the Tata Tiago EV.
It was launched at the end of last month. That's when Tata Motors said that bookings for the EV would start in October. Now its booking is starting from October 10, 2022, i.e. today. The new Tata Tiago EV can be booked for Rs 21,000.
The Tata Tiago EV has the option of two battery packs - 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh. With 19.2 kWh, the motor in the car generates 60 bhp power and 110 Nm torque. It gets a range of 250 km on a full charge. At the same time, the motor in the car with the large 24 kWh battery pack generates 74 bhp power and 114 Nm torque. It gets a range of 315 km. This information has been given by the company itself.
Tata Tiago EV gets all the features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), four-speaker Harman sound system, auto AC, foldable ORVMs, rain sensing wipers and steering-mounted controls. It also has features like cruise control and regenerative braking.
Along with this, in terms of safety, it also gets dual front airbags, cornering brake control, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ABS with EBD, and a rearview camera.
