
On Friday, a sub-inspector in the Dausa district raped a minor four-year-old girl. According to the details, this hideous crime was reported from the Lalsot area of the Dausa district, when the accused sub-inspector, Bhupendra Singh, lured the little girl to his room in the afternoon and raped her, the Assistant Superintendent of Police Ramchandra Singh Nehra told news agency PTI.
He furthermore said the accused was arrested and was being investigated. At the Rahuwas police station residents in large numbers gathered and started shouting slogans against the police.
The gathered residents also beat up the accused sub-inspector, before he was officially handed over to the police officials.
MP Kirodi Lal Meena of Bharatiya Janata Party also reached the spot and said, "There is massive anger among the people over the happening of rape of a Dalit girl by the SI in Lalsot. I have reached the spot to get justice for the innocent child."
He furthermore targeted Ashok Gehlot by saying that "The police, which has become dictatorial due to the incompetence of the Ashok Gehlot government, is not desisting from committing such hideous happenings even on big events like elections," he added.
The accused, ASI Bhupendra Singh, is confronting extreme action, and he is dismissed from his job. The police will aid all the affected members of the family in every possible way," Kirodi Lal Meena added.
The BJP MP's Kirodi Lal Meena also said the family of the victim would be given compensation for the incident.
Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman condemned Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi for her selective focus on crimes against women in Rajasthan.
Sitharaman said that Priyanka Gandhi often speaks about crimes in the states that are not governed by Congress and when it comes to speaking about the crimes happening in States governed by Congress she is conspicuously silent.
Priyanka Gandhi has often remained silent on the atrocities faced by Dalit women in Rajasthan and this is not the first time this has happened.
Vasundhara Raje expressed grief on this cruel incident as she pen a heartfelt note on social media, " The incident of rape of our four-year-old old innocent girl in Dausa has again brought embarrassment to Rajasthan.
The innocent screams of this poor daughter will continue to echo in the ears of the people of Rajasthan until the accused are punished and until this inactive government is brought to justice".
