Tension Mounts in the Area

ACP Phoolchand Meena explained that around 7:30 AM on Friday (Sep 29), the partially burnt body of a woman was found on the roadside in the Papad village near Kanota.

The sight of the half-burned corpse left the locals in shock, leading to a gathering of a large crowd at the spot.

Meena further stated that the police, with the assistance of the FSL team, are collecting evidence. Initially, it seems that the body was set on fire to conceal the identity of the deceased.

The approximate age of the woman is around 25 years old. Due to half of her face being burnt, her identity has not been established.

Half of the Woman's Face Remained Unburnt

ACP Phoolchand clarified that the murder of the woman has occurred elsewhere, and her body was then disposed of in this area.

After her murder, the body was wrapped in nylon fabric. Late at night, it was transported to the Papad village to be hidden.

He explained that the body was placed by the roadside, and set on fire using diesel or petrol w. Upon witnessing the blaze, the culprits fled the scene.

Fortunately, half of the woman's face remained unburnt, and there is a mole on the left side of her face.

The police are currently working to identify the victim and locate the perpetrators.
