Details of the Attack

The priest of the temple said that he was sitting in the temple when two masked assailants suddenly came and attacked him fiercely with sticks.

The assailants brutally thrashed him, causing serious injuries on his back and other parts of the body. They also struck him on the head with a stick, rendering him unconscious.

After the attack, the criminals fled the scene. The priest was rushed to the hospital and received medical attention for his injuries, including a severe head wound.

CCTV Footage Being Reviewed

The priest mentioned that he had no idea about the identity of the attackers or the reason behind the brutal assault. He reported the incident to the police, who registered a case.

The investigating officer, Harvansh Singh, confirmed that the case has been filed and information about the incident is being collected through nearby CCTV footage.

Prior to this incident, there was the murder of Saint Mohandas in Kuchaman, Nagaur, where the culprits are still at large. These cases have raised questions about the police's ability to apprehend the perpetrators in a timely manner.
