Recently, reports were suggesting that the second phase of IPL 2024 might be organized outside India due to the Lok Sabha elections. However, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has now clarified everything.
BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has confirmed that the Indian Premier League (IPL) will not be held overseas. He has dismissed any speculation of shifting the tournament abroad.

Similarly, in 2020, the entire IPL season was played in the UAE due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Likewise, in 2021, the second phase of the IPL was also held in the UAE due to the pandemic situation.
