Team India’s Schedule: India will play home series with three countries in their home season of 2023 and 2024. The BCCI has announced the fixtures for the home series of the men in blue side. India will host Australia, Afghanistan and England in India apart from hosting the ICC ODI World Cup in 2023.

Team India’s Schedule: Team India is currently in the Caribbean for their 2023 tour. The men in blue side have won the two-match red ball series by a margin of 1-0 and now they will move in the limited overs format.

India will also play a three-match one-day international series and end their West Indies tour with five-match series of the shortest format.

India is also scheduled to tour Ireland for a three-match series of the T20 International format. Then the men in blue side will compete in the ODI Asia Cup 2023 in Sri Lanka to defend their fifty-overs crown.

Rohit and Co are the defending champions of the Asia Cup in the One Day International format.

The Indian Team will also play the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 in India. The last time when the men in blue side played the ODI WC at home, they were crowned as the world champions after 1983.

India achieved this feat under Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rohit Sharma will look to repeat that moment of glory once again in 2023.

The BCCI has also announced the home season of the Indian Cricket Team in 2023 and 2024. India will play the series versus Australia, Afghanistan and England.

Apart from hosting the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2023 of the One Day International format, the men in blue side will also play the home series against these above-mentioned international teams.

Australia to play three-match ODI series and five-match T20I series

The Aussies will be touring India once after the BGT Series and three-match ODI series in 2023.

Australia had won the three-match series of the fifty overs format earlier this year under the captaincy of Steve Smith and this time again in 2023, they will play a series of the limited overs format.

The ODI series will start before the ODI WC 2023 and the five-match T20I series will be played after the ICC mega event of the ODI format.

  • 1st ODI – 22nd September in Mohali

  • 2nd ODI – 24th September in Indore

  • 3rd ODI – 27th September in Rajkot

  • 1st T20I – 23rd November in Vishakhapatnam

  • 2nd T2OI – 26th November in Thiruvananthapuram

  • 3rd T20I – 28th November in Guwahati 

  • 4th T20I – December 1st in Nagpur

  • 5th T20I – 3rd December in Hyderabad

Afghanistan to play Three Match ODI Series

After India returns from South Africa, Team India will play a series of the shortest format against The Afghans. This series will start before the England Cricket Team arrive to India for a five-match series in the red ball format. 

  • 1st T20I – 11th January 2024 in Mohali

  • 2nd T20I – 14th January 2024 in Indore

  • 3rd T20I – 17th January 2024 in Bangalore

India’s toughest assignment will be against England in five-match red ball series

Team India will face the BazBall style of play against a new-looked England side led by Ben Stokes and their head coach Brendon McCullum in this series of five red ball games.

  • 1st Test Match – January 25 to 29th 2024 in Hyderabad

  • 2nd Test Match – February 2nd to 6th 2024 in Visakhapatnam

  • 3rd Test Match – 15th to 19th 2024 February in Rajkot

  • 4th Test Match - 23rd to 27th February 2024 in Ranchi

  • 5th Test Match – 7th to 11th March 2024 in Dharamshala
