Indian Cricket: The year 2023 holds special importance for cricket lovers because the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 will be played this year and the year is more important to the Indian fans as the men in blue side will host this ICC mega event of the fifty overs format.
Team India is also scheduled to play the ODI Asia Cup 2023 as well. That tournament will be played in Pakistan also. But the men in blue side will play all their fifty-over matches in the island nation of Sri Lanka.
India is the defending champions of the 50 overs format after they won the tournament in 2018.
Now the Indian Cricket Team will play a three-match T20 International series against the Irish Men which will start from Friday 18th August 2023.

1. 23-Year-Old Batter has Record of Scoring Most Hundreds in 2023
Shubman Gill, the young sensation of team India has been top of this list. The young opening batter of all three formats has scored the most centuries in this year and he still has a long way to go especially with the Asia Cup 2023 and ODI WC around the corner.
Gill has scored 5 hundred at the international level in this year, which is the most in 2023 and he has gone past the legends like Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Kane Williamson and many others in that list of top ten batsmen.
Shubman has scored 3 ODI hundreds, with one ton each in red-ball format and the shortest format.
2. Current Skipper And Former Skipper of India Also Join This List of Scoring Most Centuries
India’s former skipper is mentioned second in this list. The King has been behind the Prince (Shubman Gill) with four centuries. Since the Asia Cup of 2022, which was played in the shortest format, Kohli has been in top-notch form at the international level.
Virat Kohli has not played any games of the T20 International format. But he has scored two tons each in the fifty overs format and the Test format.
The current skipper Hit Man Sharma is been mentioned last in this segment and he is also the last Indian player to be named in this list as well. Rohit Sharma batted well in the Test series against The Windies and he will come from a well-deserved rest to play in the Asia Cup and later the World Cup.
Hit Man has scored 3 Centuries in 2023 so far and we hope more to come from the captain in the upcoming tournaments. Sharma ji has scored two tons in the red ball format and one century in the fifty-over format.
