ODI Asia Cup 2023: The Indian Team will have two star players back for the Asia Cup which will be played in the fifty-overs format. The upcoming Asia Cup 2023 is like a dress rehearsal for the main ICC event of the one-day international format.
The ODI World Cup 2023 will be played in India from October 5th to 19th November 2023.
While the Asia Cup in the one-day international format will be played in the hybrid model. Pakistan will host the starting four games and the rest of the matches will be played in Sri Lanka.
India will not travel to Pakistan and the men in blue side will play all their games in Kandy and Colombo. The ODI Asia Cup 2023 will be played from 30th August 2023 to 17th September 2023.
After Jasprit Bumrah, Kannur Lokesh Rahul has also been declared fit for the Asia Cup 2023. India also has Prasidh Krishna in their ranks for this Asian tournament.
Bumrah and Krishna will play the three-match T20 International series against Ireland from 18th August 2023 and in that series, Jasprit will captain the young Indian side.
KL Rahul was forced to sit out of the action due to a thigh injury that he sustained in the TATA IPL 2023 and it also required surgery.
However, after the successful operation, the middle order batter in the ODI format of the Indian Team is ready to go and available for the Asia Cup 2023 and hopefully in the ODI World Cup in 2023.

India will open their campaign of the ODI Asia Cup against the arch-rivals Pakistan. This epic clash will be played on 2nd September 2023.
