Rajasthan Election 2023: The Elections in Rajasthan have taken an interesting turn as both the major parties in the state are going out of their way in order to gain maximum support from the voters. Modi has scaled up to 150 seats covering around 3.80 crore voters and Gehlot on the other hand is going to start a journey of 3000 kms covering around 100 seats.
The Prime minister of India, Narendra Modi has repeatedly been mentioning in all his Parivartan yatras that the BJP only has the Lotus as its face and has urged the voter to focus on this. Home Minister Amit Shah also said that The PM is going to counter Ashok Gehlot and BJP is sure to win this election.
BJP is going to put forward Modi against Gehlot in Rajasthan. Elections are directly controlled by the central team. Modi has also inaugurated a string of projects worth 7,200 crore. Attacking the Gehlot government over corruption and women's safety, Modi said it pains him whenever he finds atrocities have taken place against daughters anywhere in the country. The major issue that the BJP is eying upon is that of women’s safety and empowerment.
Ashok Gehlot has successfully covered 15 districts with up to 50-60 voters. He has been frequently visiting camps in rural areas and interacting with people. He has been to 20 districts with employment camps.
Unlike Modi, Rahul Gandhi has zero interference in Rajasthan and Gehlot has the upper hand in the state elections. The Congress is mostly relying on the work done by CM Gehlot including the various running schemes in the state.
