Rameshwaram Cafe Blast Case: In a significant development in Bengaluru's Rameshwaram Cafe blast case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken action and apprehended the perpetrators responsible for the blast along with a conspirator.

Both suspects have been arrested from West Bengal. The names of the two apprehended suspects are Abdul Matheen Taha and Mussavir Shazib Hussain.

The investigative agency had initially identified the prime suspect, Mussavir Shazib Hussain, who orchestrated the explosion. Another conspirator in this case, Abdul Matheen Taha, was also identified, and the agency had been pursuing him in connection with other cases as well. Both have been apprehended.

NIA's Extensive Operation

Before this, NIA teams had conducted operations at a total of 18 locations, including 12 in Karnataka, 5 in Tamil Nadu, and one in Uttar Pradesh. During this operation, co-conspirator Mujammil Sharif was apprehended.

NIA had taken over this case on March 3. A few days ago, NIA had issued a press release disclosing the details of those responsible for the blast.

Rameshwaram Cafe Reopens

It was on March 1st when a blast shook Bengaluru's Rameshwaram Cafe, leaving 9 injured. Police sources had revealed that an IED explosion occurred in the cafe using a timer device.

Following the incident, the cafe was reopened with grand celebrations during Mahashivratri.

According to the administration, metal detectors have been installed at the entrance of the cafe for customer screening. Before granting entry, employees will conduct checks using handheld detectors on each customer.

Strict surveillance will be maintained on all customers, and employees will remain vigilant for any suspicious activities.
