Let us tell you that People's Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti said that the BJP government snatched the flag of Jammu and Kashmir, took away the constitution, removed Article 370 and is now going to change the constitution of the country soon.
She alleged that the BJP would change the country's national flag to saffron.
The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party hit out at People's Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti over her remarks on the national flag, saying the tricolour is the pride of the country and anyone who casts an evil eye on it will be dealt with sternly.
Party's Jammu and Kashmir unit spokesperson Altaf Thakur said the BJP's mantra is "nation-first, party-second and self-third."
He said that if this had not happened, the BJP would not have had more than 300 MPs in the Parliament.
Also, he said, "The truth is that anyone who looks at the flag with an evil eye will be dealt with strictly."
Thakur said that BJP workers and office bearers are ready to lay down their lives for the glory of the tricolour and the statement that BJP wants to change the flag has no justification.
