Raghav-Parineeti Wedding: Actress Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha are planning to marry in September in the lovely city of Udaipur.
As the big day approaches, both have been juggling professional obligations and wedding preparations, which include venue selection and ceremony planning.
According to IndiaTV, the specifics of their wedding invitations and event have already been released.
Simple yet elegant, the wedding invitation card is embellished with delicate borders and soft pastel colours. The luxurious Leela Palace and the gorgeous Taj Lake in Udaipur have been chosen as the settings for the festivities.
The wedding festivities will begin on September 23 with Pari's Choora Ceremony, a traditional pre-wedding ceremony.
Raghav's Sehrabandi ceremony, known as Threads of Blessings, would take place the following day, September 24, at 1:00 PM at Taj Lake Palace. This will be followed by the Baraat procession, which will begin at 2:00 PM from Taj Lake.
The main wedding ceremonies, including the pheras, are scheduled for 3:30 and 4:00 PM at Leela Palace, followed by the Jaimala ceremony. The jubilant event will conclude with a lavish banquet.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got engaged on May 13 of this year at New Delhi's Kapurthala House.
The event was attended by their close friends and family, including Parineeti's cousin sister, the famed Priyanka Chopra.
In addition to wedding preparations, Parineeti Chopra has been juggling her work obligations. She is now working on the film "Mission Raniganj" with Akshay Kumar.
The film is based on the true-life exploits of engineer Jaswant Gill, who played a critical part in the rescue of 65 miners during the 1989 coalfield catastrophe.
Parineeti is also working on a biographical drama called "Amar Singh Chamkila," which she is co-writing with Diljit Dosanjh and will be directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film is set to be released in theatres in 2024, adding another layer to her diverse acting career.
