Aam Aadmi Party's MP Raghav Chadha has been suspended from the Rajya Sabha. He will not be able to participate in the proceedings of the house until the report from the Special Privileges Committee is released.

A decision has also been taken to suspend AAP MP Sanjay Singh from Rajya Sabha until the Special Privileges Committee's report is available.

Allegations of Sending Proposals Without Members' Consent

Raghav Chadha has been accused of falsifying a proposal sent to the Select Committee regarding the Delhi Services Bill.

In this proposal, he included the name of Nagaland's Rajya Sabha MP Fagan Singh Konyak, as well as the names of certain other members, without obtaining their consent.

Some BJP members have claimed that the proposal was sent without their agreement or signatures.

Raghav Chadha Accused BJP of Trying to Trap Him

The case reached the Special Privileges Committee of the Parliament, which issued a notice to Raghav Chadha, asking for an explanation for the action taken against him.

However, Raghav Chadha later held a press conference, referring to the rule book and stating that he had done nothing wrong.

He accused the BJP of trying to trap him, indicating that it might be an attempt to revoke his membership.
