Sidhu Moose Wala Murder Case: Another shooter has been arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala.
The sharpshooter, identified as Ankit Sirsa, was also found involved in two other heinous cases of attempt to murder in Rajasthan.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police on Sunday arrested Ankit Sirsa from the Kashmiri Gate area of Delhi.
Along with Ankit Sirsa, the team of the Special Cell has also arrested one more most wanted criminal of the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Brar gang. Ankit Sirsa was one of the shooters involved in the killing of Sidhu Moose Wala.
He was also involved in two cases of an attempt to murder in Rajasthan. On the other hand, the second accused Sachin Chaudhary alias Sachin Bhiwani was also arrested by the Delhi Police.
He is responsible for harbouring four shooters in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case.
Delhi Police have also recovered three uniforms of Punjab Police, a .3mm pistol and two mobile sets with dongles from them.
Ankit Sirsa shot Sidhu Moose Wala from close range. Priyavrata Fauji was also in the car with him at the time of the incident. The car of the accused stopped Moose Wala's Thar. The accused shot Moose Wala and then fled from the spot.
Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants on 29 May in Mansa district of Punjab. The incident happened a day after the state government stepped down security for Moose Wala.
