Thankfully the girl's life was saved. The matter is of August 25. The police have now arrested Amanat Ali. Also, Pawan and Bobby, who were with him during the incident, have been arrested.
19-year-old Amanat alias Arman is originally from Mawana, Meerut. After his arrest, he told the police that he had befriended the girl through social media.
But sometime back she had stopped the conversation, which made him angry and wanted to kill her. He had taken Bobby and Pawan with him to carry out the incident.
In a one-sided love affair, Amanat Ali shot a class 11 student living in his locality. The victim was returning home from her school at the time of the incident.
The accused shot the girl from behind and fled. The girl was admitted to the hospital. The family also alleged that Ali was harassing the student for the past one year. He used to follow her to and from school.
The girl's father said that a young man named Amanat Ali, who lives in the locality, was harassing his daughter for a year.
The girl had stopped talking to him for the last four-five months. Angered by this, the accused Amanat started following her and often blocked her path.
The student's uncle told that a complaint was also made to the police in this regard in the last week of June, but the police did not take any action.
Due to this, the spirit of the accused Amanat Ali increased and he shot the student. Had the police acted in time, the accused would never have thought of shooting the victim.
