If salt is not in the food then it seems tasteless. But if you have more then that test will spoil it as well as harm your health as well. There has recently been researched on this subject in the US. It was found in this that intake of more salt can cause swelling in the intestine. In such a situation it is necessary that the salt should be minimized. It keeps the person healthy.

Recently, research done in the United States has shown that the intake of more salt can cause swelling in the intestine. The researchers said this while analyzing the data of a clinical trial that was done about two decades ago. In the research, swelling of the intestines of those who consumed excessive sodium was found. Apart from this, people who took more fiber diets were found to have less inflammation than those with low fiber diets.

Research has also revealed that nearly half of the adult population of America is suffering from swelling of the intestines. The researchers explain that this happens because of the gas in the stomach. He explains that this gas-fiber is formed due to the digestive bacteria. He says that due to the increase in the amount of salt in more fiber foods, the problem of gas also increases. Therefore, the quantity of salt should be kept low in more fiber foods.

According to the research done in the United States, eating too much salt can lead to ulcers. Because more quantity of salt in the body is activated by Helicobacter pylori i.e. that H pylori bacteria is activated. It can cause ulcer disease in the stomach. Research has shown that with the presence of excess salt, H pyroly bacteria take dangerous forms and weaken the digestive system. It can cause ulcer problems.

High intake of salt can also cause problems of intestinal cancer, kidney related problems, headaches, body swelling, and kidney stones.
