Self-Styled Flight Booking Agent on Run after Cheating Three

Police have launched a manhunt to nab a self-claimed flight booking agent who had fled after cheating some persons in the name of providing them air journey ticket. Madhav Nagar police said a case under Section 420 of IPC has been registered against one Ayush Sharma, a resident of 128, Sethi Nagar. Police said the youth allegedly cheated 43-year-old Abhishek son of Prakash Chandra Vyas, a resident of Dhanvantari Marg and Sanjay Lalwani, a resident of Santram Sindhi Colony. Vyas is an LDC working with the school education department and had also worked in the staff of ex-energy minister Paras Jain while Lalwani is a headmaster in a government school.

According to victims, they had paid a sum of Rs 31636 and Rs 2200 electronically in favor of the accused on January 31. They wanted 11 flight tickets for Indore to Guwahati and 2 flight tickets from Chennai to Guwahati. Despite paying the due fare amount, the self-styled ticket booking agent did not provide them with tickets. Finally, they approached the police which booked him. Sources informed that the accused had also recently cheated MLA Mohan Yadav's nephew Namit Yadav by recovering advance fare amount of Rs 22, 000.
