Section 144 Applicable in Kashmir for Security Reasons

In the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, on Sunday, the administration has imposed Precautionary Section 144 for security reasons and all colleges of the district will remain closed on Monday even before the advance order.

According to the issued order of District Magistrate Rahul Yadav, in view of the situation of the peace system in the district and demonstration and apprehension of the procession, Section 144 has been imposed. There is a possibility of hindering the law and order in people's resentment. In the order stated, "In Poonch district, there is a ban on the accumulation of more than five people, to keep the general public or any person strike, violent performance, speech, slogans, sticks or arms.

"All other liquor shops and bourse will be closed. This order has been issued for 24 hours.
