Poor Diet is More Deadly than Smoking

After rising diseases and death statistics due to smoking, it is far more fatal than smoking, for health, bad food, and bad diets. If you want to stay fit and healthy then pay full attention to your eating habits.

Due to our changing lifestyle and eating habits of bad food, bad diet is proving to be more fatal than our health. Therefore, it is important that people avoid junk food and make a plant diet as part of their diet.

Poor Diet is More Deadly than Smoking

According to the 2017 figures of the Global Burden of Disease Study, 20 percent of world deaths are due to poor diet. It has been observed that stressful atmosphere encourages people to eat spicily and junk food. This habit spoiled the definition of nutritious food. It is important to understand that a healthy diet does not mean consuming calories equal to 30 times the present weight of a person. The exact balance of gross and subtle nutrients is equally important.

Include 7 colors and 6 tastes in the food

Dr. K. K. Agrawal, President, Heart Care Foundation of India (HCFI), says, "Our ancient rituals and traditions have told us about the problems of diet and at the same time, we should eat many types of food in moderation. In the food, seven colors-red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white and 6-taste-sweet, sour, salted, bitter, spicy and addictive should be included. Fasting is also important in the food cycle. However, this does not mean anything to eat, but to leave some things. '

If a person has eaten something, then the brain gets this signal only after 20 minutes. For this, the bite should be chewed at least 15 times. This not only provides enough hormones for enzymes but also sends signals to the brain. Therefore, it should take at least 20 minutes of time to eat every time.

Fill the size instead of a stomach

Dr. Agarwal further says, 'Taste buds i.e. test beds are only on the tip and edge of the tongue. If you swallow the food, then the brain will not be indicated for eating. Eat small pieces and chew them properly to indicate the brain through taste buds. The fullness of the stomach or the size of the flowering determines how much someone can eat. The brain gets the signal only when the stomach is 100 percent filled. Therefore, instead of stomping, you should fill its shape. Apart from this, if you eat less then the size of the stomach will shrink over time.

Keep these things in mind

– Eat less and enjoy your meal by eating slowly.

– Fill your plate with fruits and vegetables.

– At least half of the grain should be whole grains in the diet.

– Avoid food that is high in trans fat and sugar.

– Choose healthy fat. Use fat-free or low-fat milk and dairy products.

– Drink plenty of water. Avoid sugary drinks.

Avoid foods that contain high levels of sodium, such as snacks, processed foods.
