Lucknow Police Commissioner gave Instructions, Police Personnel will do Duty for Eight Hour

Policemen posted in the capital will do eight hours of duty from Tuesday night. DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi has instructed all the officers including ADG Zone, IG and DIG Range, SSP and SP to identify such policemen who have been admitted to the hospital after suffering from severe illness.  Instructions have been given to review police personnel above 55 years of age on the basis of prior history of the disease.

Police Commissioner Sujit Pandey gave instructions to the subordinates on the wireless set late on Monday night.  The Police Commissioner said that sick policemen would not be put on duty in hotspot areas.  For a long time, policemen were upset under the workload.  The Commissioner of Police has taken this initiative to provide relief to policemen in view of Corona infection, police personnel will be deployed in three shifts.

The scheme of giving weekly leave to policemen is also in the balance.  Several times the proposal was prepared regarding the duty, but it could not come to the ground.  Now the policemen will get a lot of relief from the duty of eight hours and they will also be able to take care of their own health with the family.  This new initiative of the Commissioner of Police has created an atmosphere of happiness among the policemen.
