Law Student’s Body found Buried in Basement at Ghaziabad

The victim's father lodged a missing complaint on Monday. While police found his semi-decomposed body on Tuesday. According to Police, Victim Pankaj Singh hailed from Baliya and currently living in a rented house at Girdhar Enclave, Ghaziabad for his studies. His body was found buried under 6 feet to the floor in basement of his landlord's house. After his family suspected his murder, Police recovered his body from basement and was sent for postmortem. His body was covered with mud.

" We had found his body buried under 6 feet in the basement on Tuesday", said his roommate. Landlord Munnalal Yadav, his wife, and his four children are missing and are out of police's reach till now. The police officer said, "We have registered an FIR against the landlord and they will soon be in police custody".

Pankaj Singh was also running a cybercafe apart from his studies in Ghaziabad. Pankaj's father alleges that the landlord wanted to raid his son's cyber café. " Police are not taking strict actions against culprits and we are very upset with their behavior ", said his father. While police said "we have formed teams to trace accused and if any negligence of any officer found, then the strict action will be taken. We are looking into the Pankaj's call detail ."

According to postmortem reports conducted by two senior doctors of MMG hospital, Ghaziabad," He was died around 5 days ago and from asphyxia due to antemortem strangulation."
