Japanese Tea Matcha Can Cure Anxiety And Stress

Researchers from Japan's Kumamoto University examined some rats for this conclusion. They found that the rats who drank matcha powders or matcha extracts saw a considerable decline in their worrisome behavior. If researchers believe that matcha tea contains some elements that help to ease anxiety and stress. These elements activate Dopamine D1 receptors and serotonin 5-HT1A receptors. Both of these chemicals are related to worrisome behavior.

In this study, Anxiety test were done on rats, which showed that their anxiety-related behavior decreased after drinking Matcha Powder or Matcha extract. Another thing that came out was that the rats who drank matcha extracts with hot water reduced the 80% reduction in anxiety and stress. Tea leaves, called Camellia sinensis, are grown on shady places.
