A 40-year-old woman has accused her husband of locking her in a house in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The woman alleges that her husband locked her in the house to meet his girlfriend. The woman shouted for about an hour after which a person passing through the house broke the lock and took her out.

The case is from Raipur area of Ahmedabad. The woman went to the Khadia police station and filed a complaint against her husband. The woman is the mother of two daughters. In her FIR, the victim said that she was married to the accused 16 years ago on the will of the family and since marriage, she has been harassed for various things.

On Sunday evening, while her husband was getting ready, the victim's wife came to know that he was going to meet his girlfriend with whom he had been in a relationship for the last three years. The complainant alleges that the accused did not listen to one of them and locked them in the house. The woman was screaming for help from the window of the house. Meanwhile, the person passing by saw him and broke the lock and pulled him out.

As she came out, Maninagar went to the girlfriend's house where the two were together. After this, the aggrieved wife first reached Maninagar police station from where they were sent to Khadia police. The woman alleges domestic violence, saying that her husband is in a relationship with another woman and harasses her when she protests. Police is registering the case and investigating.
