According to the reports the fake transgender allegedly murdered a 62-year-old woman with the help of her own daughter-in-law in Jaipur. The intruder entered through the main door to rob the elderly woman, Beena Sharma, of jewellery and cash worth Rs 5 lakh.

The police informed that the intruder entered through the main door to rob the elderly woman, Beena Sharma, of jewellery and cash worth Rs 5 lakh. Police came to the notice  that Priyanka had disappeared with the jewellery a year ago along with a tenant Sunita, who claimed to be a transgender. However, Priyanka's husband persuaded her to come back and Sunita was made to vacate her accommodation.

Since then, Beena had been keeping jewellery with her daughter but brought it back home recently to attend a wedding.

Priyanka allegedly conspired with Sunita to kill and rob Beena. She kept the front door opened, and once Sunita entered inside, the two used a pillow to strangulate Beena to death. After which, they stole the jewellery and fled.

The police suspected an insider's hand in the robbery and murder. They also spotted a few broken pieces of jewellery that Priyanka wore at the scene of the murder. This led to her interrogation and subsequent arrest.

The police initially disclosed that Sunita was a transgender, but the medical examination revealed he was a man, identified as Surjit Kumar. The police as of yet don't have the information about Surjit's past, why he crossdressed or whether he was physically involved with Priyanka.
