Rajasthan Royals was sitting on the first position till Kolkata Knight Riders sealed that spot from them. The double R’s couldn’t even finish second on the points table which would made their job a bit easier because the top two sides get another chance to cement their place in the finals. However, the rains in Guwahati ruined their chances to go on the second spot.
RR is currently on a four match losing streak in the TATA IPL 2024. Samson and co started the 17th season of this cash-rich league tournament well. But the four losses will make a huge impact on them and for this must win game, Rajasthan will be without Royals player, Jos Buttler, who is also the skipper of England’s T20 side and he has gone back home for the national duty.

According to many experts, RCB looks favourite to win this match. That is because they have the momentum with them and many also predict that Faf and Co will also reach the finals.
