Delhi: Person Committed Suicide by Jumping from a Metro Bridge

On Tuesday, a person committed suicide by jumping from a metro bridge in Uttar Nagar. Metro Deputy Commissioner of Police said, "On Tuesday morning, a person jumped on the road from Uttam Nagar East Metro Station at around 9.38 am. Soon after, a traffic policeman took the man to Mata Chanan Devi Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. '

The age of the person is being stated as 40 years. He said that a suicide note and Aadhaar card was recovered from the deceased according to which he was identified as Rajiv, a resident of JJ Colony on Hastasal Road in Uttam Nagar West. Tired of debt, he decided to commit suicide, according to the recovered suicide note. Police said that the kin of the deceased are being informed and investigations are on.
