A man fired indiscriminately on Wednesday in the city of San Jose, California, USA. According to police, 8 people have died in the incident. Apart from this, many people have been reported injured. The attacker was trying to escape from the spot, but was shot dead by the police. City Mayor Sam Liccardo called the incident a black spot on the city's history.
The Santa Clara Sheriff's Office said in a statement – most of the people killed are employees of the Transport Authority. They were preparing to go home after finishing duty in the morning. He was replaced by another staff. Police suspect that there may be some explosives inside this building, so the bomb disposal team has also been called to the spot. The help of sniffer dogs is also being sought.
