57-yr-old Woman Found Dead in Rohini

On Monday, a 57-year-old woman was found dead at her residence in Sector-16 area of Rohini. The police suspect that robbery may be the motive, because gold rings, bangles,

and chains were found missing.

Police said that the deceased was identified as Geeta Saxena resident of Rohini's Sector-16.

SD Mishra, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) said that the incident was reported to the police around 1.37 pm on Monday.

He said that the body of a woman was found inside her house, whose neck was tied with a cloth.

A senior police officer said that a woman working in the house informed him about the incident. "We are also trying to find out the role of the woman who informed them

Since no sign of forced entry was found. Saxena's husband is an autorickshaw driver and he was not in the house when the incident happened. The body was sent to Baba Sahib Ambedkar Hospital for the post-mortem," police said.
