39 Children Injured in a Knife Attack at Primary School in China

In a primary school in China, a security guard attacked 39 students and teachers with a knife and injured them. China's state media reported this on Thursday. This incident is from a school in Guangxi province. According to police, the cause of the incident has not yet been ascertained. The security guard has been arrested from the spot.

In the last few years, incidents of knife attacks have increased in many parts of China. Attackers continue to target public or mainly kindergartens and primary schools to vent their anger.

Earlier in September 2019, a person killed eight students in China. At the same time, two others were injured. In April last year, a school in Hunan province was also attacked by a person with a knife, killing two students. At the same time, in January 2019, a young man attacked school kids with a hammer and injured 20 children. Earlier in 2018, nine students were killed by an attacker outside Shaanxi Province Middle School. It is said that he was an alumnus of the same school, who carried out the incident to take revenge.
