The 30-month-old girl, who went missing from the Ambli area in Ahmedabad in Gujarat on Saturday, was kidnapped and raped. Police Officers gave information about this on Monday. The child's father works in a housing society on Bopli-Ambli road. Police started searching for the girl after her disappearance on Saturday. ACP VG Patel said that the girl was found in the same area on Sunday.

Patel said that the medical examination revealed that the girl was raped. A case of kidnapping and rape has been registered against unknown person at Sarkhej police station on Sunday. He said that it is seen in CCTV footage that a person is walking in that area in a suspicious manner, we are investigating further.

Patel said, 'A person is seen walking around the motorcycle in the same place where the girl was found. The footage is not clear as CCTV does not have night vision. We are collecting other CCTV footage to identify the accused. 'According to the information, the security guard of a housing colony came to know about the girl after hearing the barking of the dogs. When he spoke to the girl, he told that his parents live there. He then took the girl to her home and handed over to her parents.

The girl's mother told Sarkhej police that around 3 pm on Saturday afternoon, the child was playing outside the house when she was abducted. The girl's mother said that when she did not find the girl outside the house, she tried to find the girl first with the help of neighbors. Her husband later communicate the police. Sarkhej police have registered a case against unknown person under rape, kidnapping and pocso act. Police have not yet ascertained where the girl's rape took place.
