Mumbai: Bollywood actress, producer and animal lover Anushka Sharma has urged everyone to treat animals and plant species with utmost kindness and equality. As World Environment Day is celebrated on 5 June, the 'NH 10' star is requesting people to be sympathetic to animals and plants.

She said, "On Earth, plants and animals are equally important as we human species are. We should treat all animals and plant species with kindness and equality."

She continued, "I wish we didn't consider them the means to an end, because at the end of the day we're all one. I'm a climate warrior. Are you?"

Anushka has come forward to support Climate Warrior, an initiative by actress Bhumi Pednekar, who is trying to spread awareness on climate issues through a campaign called 'One Wish for the Earth'.

Apart from Anushka, Big B and Akshay Kumar also supported the actress's initiative.
