When is Guru Purnima? Learn Fast Method and Importance

Guru Purnima is an important day. This festival is dedicated to the gurus and celebrated with great pomp in our country. On this day, the disciples worship their gurus and respect them.

According to Panchang, there is a tradition of celebrating the full moon of Ashadha month as Guru Purnima every year. It is also called Ashadha Purnima.

It has been said that knowledge cannot be attained without a Guru. because they are the one who removes the darkness of ignorance from life and shines it with the light of knowledge. This year, this special day of Guru-Shishya relationship is on 5th July.

Guru Purnima Tithi will start at 11:33 am on July 4 and will end at 10:13 am on July 5. On this day, after worshipping the gurus, flowers are offered at their feet. On this day, even the elders of the elders should touch their feet and take blessings because we too keep learning something in our lives.
