Voting Continues on 20 Seats in Jharkhand

Voting continues on 20 seats in the second phase of Jharkhand assembly elections. There are long queues of voters at every booth. According to the Election Commission, till 11 am, 29 percent voting has been recorded. By 9 o'clock here, about 13.03 percent voters have exercised their franchise. Polling was recorded at 16.30 percent in Bahragoda, 14.10 in Ghatshila, 14.9 in Potka, 14.8 in Jugsalai, 13.2 in Jamshedpur East, 13.3 in Jamshedpur West and 15.66 percent in Seraikela. Voting started on 18 seats of this phase from 7 am, votes will be cast till 3 pm.

Votes can be cast in Jamshedpur East and West by 5 pm. In this election, 48 lakh voters are deciding the price of 260 candidates. A total of 6066 polling booths have been built in these areas. Out of the 20 seats which are going to be voted on Saturday, there is no booth in the urban area on 10 seats. These include Ghatshila, Potka, Kharsawan, Mazgaon, Jagannathpur, Manoharpur, Mandar, Torpa, Sisai and Kolebira. On the other hand, none of the booths in Jamshedpur East and Jamshedpur Western are in the rural area. Till nine in the morning, 11.3 in Kharsawan, 13.3 in Chaibasa, 14.7 in Mazgaon, 12.9 in Jagannathpur, 10.12 in Manoharpur, 11.72 in Chakradharpur, 13.95 in Tamar: 10.15 in Mandar, 11.10 in Torpa, 12.10 in Khunti, 12.50 in Sisai, Simdega In 11.13 percent and 12.30 percent voters in Kolebira have exercised their franchise.

In Jharkhand, 20.51 percent voting has been registered in 20 seats of the second phase till 11 am. According to the Election Commission, polling has been recorded at 28.5 in Bahragoda, 26.8 in Ghatshila, 27 in Potka, 27.2 in Jugsalai, 21.01 in Jamshedpur East and 20.3 percent in Jamshedpur West. According to the commission, 29.12 percent voters in Seraikela, 31.64 in Kharsawan, 32.56 in Chaibasa, 36.73 in Mazgaon, 30.02 in Jagannathpur and 30.79 percent in Manoharpur have exercised their franchise.
