UP Roadways becomes Hitech, Now make Payment with Debit-Credit Card

The glimpse of Digital India of the Narendra Modi government of the center will now be seen in Uttar Pradesh Roadways buses also. Actually, now the facility of paying the fare with Paytm, debit and credit card will be available in roadways buses. Till now, the buses of UP Roadways have the facility of paying rent only in cash.

Bus Ticket from Android ticket machine

For this, bus ticket will be made from Android ticket machine. Its trial has started at three depots in Lucknow. For this, 2300 Android ticket machines have reached the Transport Department. In the first phase, AC buses will have this facility. There will also be a facility to take a photo of the passenger while making a ticket with the Android machine. The location of buses will also be known from this machine.

Let us know that recently Paytm has said that it has planned to invest 500 crores to make the digital payment environment comprehensive. Paytm recently said, "The company plans to invest Rs 500 crore in new startup companies working on alternative technologies to fundamentally strengthen the digital sector."

According to Paytm, it typically invests Rs 200-250 crore every year in companies making ancillary technologies such as Insider, Nearby, Loginext, Ticket New, Hungerbox, Knightstay, QRQL and RecruiterGrid.
