Universal Children's Day is celebrated on 20 November. At the same time, In India this day has been marked as Child Rights Day. The purpose behind celebrating this day is to make children aware of their rights. Every year on 20 November, a National Assembly is organized by the National Commission for the Protection of Children's Rights.

What are Child Rights

The declaration of child rights was made in the year 1959 but accepted on 20 November 2007. Right to life in child rights, food nutrition, health, development, education, identity, name, nationality, family, entertainment, including misbehavior, protection and the illegal trade of children. A constitutional body or commission was created by the Government of India in March 2007 for the National Child Rights Protection to promote the care and protection of children.
