Two Files Missing from Sidhu’s Old Office

Shivani Alakh

Two files politically important have disappeared since Navjot Singh Sidhu, who resigned from the Punjab cabinet, was removed from the local body department. There has been a stir in the corridor of power and discussions have spread. At the same time, the new minister of the local body department Brahman minister has ordered an inquiry to trace the files. CM Office has also asked the Chief Secretaries and Departmental Secretariat to find out the files. There is a possibility of politics on the whole issue.

The most important file is the City Center scam. In this case, Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh is running a case in Ludhiana's court. This case came in front of Capt Amarinder's former tenure. On changing the power of this project of Rs 1144 crores, the Badal government examined Vigilance and filed a case against five other people including Capt Amarinder Singh.

After Captain Amarinder Singh returned to power, Vigilance has given a closure report in this case. It is being said that these files are near Navjot Singh Sidhu which they have not returned yet. Department Minister BrahM Mohindra said that he has sought a list of files from the department and he will comment on the arrival of him.

Due to missing files related to Capt Amarinder Singh, this has become the subject of discussion. On the other hand, Navjot Singh Sidhu has made the distance from the media and others for the last one-and-a-half months. He was contacted several times but could not be contacted.

The discussion has now spread to the fact that the files related to the city center scam are indeed Navjot Singh Sidhu or it has been vanished under the guise of his resignation. Political analysts say that Siddhu can answer the answer. During the Captain's previous tenure, the city center scandal was badly damaged.

Apart from this, another file is about Grand Manor Holmes which was allowed to be made without CLU. This project was to be set up in Ludhiana, which was published by Dainik Jagran, to give approval for the project without CLU. This issue was the subject of discussion in the last session of the Assembly.

In the case of Grand Manor Holmes DSP BS Sekhon had examined the order of Navjot Singh Sidhu, in which the role of Food and Supply Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu came out. In his investigation, he said that rules were taken to provide financial benefits to the developer making Grand Manor Homes. Although Bharat Bhushan Ashu had said that he has nothing to do with this matter. He also took the finger of the investigation officer.

Bharat Bhushan Ashu clarified that the work of this project was stopped. He said that the developer of the project had obtained CLU of three measles numbers but one was left. Later, they got him too. Despite this, the work on the project has not started till date.
